......POLICEWOMEN MARCHED IN CELEBRATION OF WOMEN'S MONTH

In line with the Women’s Month Celebration, the Pampanga Police, under the supervision of PSSUPT R’WIN S PAGKALINAWAN, showcased their Women Battalion coinciding with the traditional flag-raising ceremony last March 4, 2013 at Pampanga PPO headquarters.


Policewomen coming from the nineteen (19) Municipal and two (2) City Police Stations were given directives by PSUPT ANNA LIZA GUZMAN, Chief PCR Branch, to attend the program in order to show PNP’s full support in women empowerment and gender equality and realize their potential in leading our society. During the ceremony, the attendees joined formation to display women’s power in this organization.


Third District Board Member Monina “Monz” Palma Laus also attended the program and served as the guest speaker. With this year’s theme “Kababaihan: Gabay sa Pagtahak sa Tuwid na Daan”, BM Laus discussed the importance of women in the society and the different roles it plays in the community. She also talked about her experiences being a woman in serving the public. BM Monz continued that even though she faced several difficulties along the way, she always made sure to uphold good governance and continue the advocacies, projects and programs started by her late husband.


Futhermore, the board member praised the women in PNP for being strong and powerful. BM Laus commended the policewomen of the Pampanga Police force for fulfilling their duties and their never ending efforts in keeping our streets safe from crime and upholding justice in our society.
