....................................MAN SURRENDERED HIS GUNS TO COPS

The PNP’s campaign against loose firearms is still ongoing. With this in mind, Arayat Municipal Station led by PSUPT ALLAN B PALOMO, Chief of Police, continuously and religiously conducts operations against illegal firearms within his area of responsibility. Since the election period is now ongoing, these kinds of operations would serve useful to lessen or prevent election related violence.

In a report reaching the office of PSSUPT R’WIN S PAGKALINAWAN, Provincial Director, Pampanga PPO, at about 11:30AM on April 2, 2013, a citizen named Ronaldo AGUIRRE  y Santiago went to Arayat Municipal Station to give up his firearm. Ronaldo who is 47 years of age, happily married and resident of Barangay Suclayin, Arayat Pampanga voluntarily surrendered his one (1) caliber .38 Snob Nose Smith and Wesson Revolver without a serial number and three (3) live ammunition.

Cooperation between the PNP and the general public is greatly needed in order for this campaign be more effective. PD PAGKALINAWAN commends the efforts of Arayat MPS for their accomplishment and Ronaldo Aguirre for being a responsible gunowner and surrendered his firearm to the proper authorities.
