Presentation of Operational Dashboard to Improve Police Service in Line with PNP PATROL Plan 2030

            The Pampanga PPO under the leadership of PSSUPT OSCAR D ALBAYALDE, Officer-in-Charge, in its efforts to attain a highly capable, effective and credible police service held a seminar-workshop in order to discuss plans and methods to improve the standards of competence and capability of the organization. The conference was held at Bale Katimawan, Pampanga Police Headquarters, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, today, June 27, 2013.

            Present during the seminar was PCSUPT WENDY G ROSARIO, Deputy Regional Director for Administration, who gave his guidance and insights regarding the operational and tactical dashboards presented to him. PSSUPT MORO VIRGILIO LAZO, Deputy Regional Director for Operations, also attended the meeting and discussed their plans to improve police service in line with the PNP PATROL Plan 2030. The Directorial Staff of PRO3, Pampanga PPO Staff Members and the Chiefs of Police (COPs) of City/Municipal Police Stations also attended the conference. Other key officials like PSUPT LILIAN CASTILLO, OIC, RPSMU (Regional Public Safety Management Unit) was present during the seminar.

            The PNP PATROL (Peace and Order Agenda Transformation and Upholding the Rule of Law) Plan 2030 is the comprehensive plan of the PNP to achieve its vision of a highly capable, effective and credible police service in 2030 working in partnership with a responsive community towards the attainment of a safer place to live, work and do business. The new PNP Scorecard (also called as the Agency Scorecard) was also tackled by the Officers who attended the said conference.

            During the conference, PSUPT JHOANNA P ROSALES, Chief POB, presented the Operational Dashboard of Pampanga PPO which aims to improve crime prevention methods in the province of Pampanga. The presentation further discussed factors like Enhancement of Community Engagement, Intensification of Police Operations, Intelligence and Counter Intelligence are essential to the enhancement of crime prevention. In addition, maintenance and deployment of competent investigative personnel is also vital in crime prevention. Having reliable infrastructures and secure funds will certainly be helpful in the improvement.  Accounting of wanted persons was also tackled during the discussion as well as Disaster Risk Reduction Management. Lastly, development of community and stakeholder’s support is an indispensable factor in the development crime prevention.

            Furthermore, the seminar-worshop was necessary to identify and improve certain factors regarding crime prevention in the province. With this in mind, the organization is steadily enhancing to perfect their mission to enforce law, prevent and control crimes, maintain peace and order and ensure public safety and internal security with the active support of the community.
