Candaba Cops Arrested Murder Suspect

The Pampanga PPO under the leadership of PSSUPT MARLON V MADRID, Officer-In-Charge, successfully arrested the suspect in the gruesome killing of a minor victim that transpired last August 15, 2014.

In a report sent by PSUPT CRISCENTE C TIGUELO, Chief of Police Candaba MPS, after the incident last August 15, 2014, wherein they found the heavily injured victim, Roshelle Velasquez Ingal, 12 years old, and resident of Barangay Barit, Candaba, Pampanga, they immediately formed a special team that would investigate and uncover the identity of the culprit.

After hearing the claims of the witnesses, the team came up to a conclusion that a certain Jovany Endrino y Tirrado, 33 years old, and resident of Purok 4, Candaba, Pampanga was the offender of the minor victim. Subsequently, the said suspect turned out to be the uncle of the Roshelle.

Follow-up operations were conducted and after a thorough pursuit operation ensued at about 8:10PM of August 18, 2014, the suspect appeared at the wake of the victim where he was apprehended by the authorities. He was immediately brought in the residence of Brgy Chairman Guillermo Mangalus and thereby, in the presence of other Brgy Officials, and the father of the victim, Estaban Ingal, suspect Jovany confessed and admitted the killing of the victim.

Hence, he was put under arrest and frisked, a small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet was containing white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride (SHABU) was found in his possession and control.

The arrested suspect together with the confiscated shabu was brought to the office of Candaba Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition. Pertinent documents are being readied for filing the case against the suspect.

PSSUPT MADRID commends the personnel Candaba MPS for the successful arrest of the murderer and bringing justice to the family and loved ones of the victim.
