Pampanga PPO Anti-Illegal Drug Operations, Intensified

The Pampanga PPO under the leadership of PSSUPT MARLON V MADRID, Officer-In-Charge, successfully arrested a drug personality in an anti-illegal drug operation conducted by elements of Pampanga Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Operation Task Group (PAIDSOTG) in coordination with PDEA 3 personnel earlier today August 18, 2014.

In a report sent by PSUPT RAQUEL LINGAYO, Chief Pampanga Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB), the buy-bust operation transpired around 12:45PM of same date at Winsor Street, Queens Borough, Barangay San Jose, City of San Fernando, Pampanga which resulted in the arrest of Alvin Javier y Alvaro, 39 years old, and resident of Barangay Del Pilar of same city.

Confiscated from the buy-bust operation are the following items:

  1. Ten (10) small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected SHABU
  2. One (1) piece 500 peso bill
  3. One (1) Cal. 45 handgun without serial number
  4. One (1) magazine with five (5) ammos

The arrested suspect together with the confiscated pieces of evidence was brought to PIB office for proper disposition. The handgun and illegal drugs will be submitted to Regional Crime Laboratory Office 3 for lab and ballistic examination.

Subsequently, a case for Violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and another case for Illegal Possession of Firearm will be filed against Javier.

The Pampanga Police has recently enforced a more intensified campaign to rid illegal drugs here in the province. Furthermore, several drug personalities were arrested in separate operations conducted by Municipal Police Stations over the weekend.

PSSUPT MADRID commends all the personnel involved for their successful operation which led to another accomplishment in the PNP’s continuous campaign against the proliferation of illegal drugs in the province.
