PAMPANGA PPO FORMED SPECIAL INVESTIGATION TASK GROUP “GEERTMAN”

PSSUPT EDGARDO G TINIO, Provincial Director, Pampanga PPO immediately ordered the creation of Special Investigation Task Group (SITG) “Geertman” that would handle the Robbery with Homicide incident transpired at about 12:24 PM of July 3, 2012 at 54 Rue De Pare St. L & S Subd. Brgy Telabastagan, City of San Fernando, Pampanga victimizing Willem Geertman y Lutz, 67 years old, a Dutch National, married and a resident of Brgy. Suklayin, Baler, Aurora perpetrated by Motorcycle Riding Suspects (MRS).


SITG “Geertman” is now being headed by PSUPT ANGELITO ESTEBAN, Deputy Provincial Director for Operations (DPDO) as the Task Group Commander and PSUPT LUISITO MAGNAYE, Chief of Police, San Fernando CPS as the Deputy TG Commander. Other members includes the Angeles City Crime Laboratory Office,  Criminal Investigation and Detective Team Pampanga, Provincial Intelligence Branch and Provincial Investigation and Detective Management Branch.


Based on the initial investigation conducted by the SITG, the victim together with Crisostomo Ybanez and Bernie Basangan has just returned back to their house  in L & S Subdivision after withdrawing an unestimated amount of money from Metro Bank, Angeles City Branch. Boarded in a maroon Nissan Frontier pickup bearing plate nr WPY-887 and registered to Citizen Disaster Response Center with office address at West Triangle Homes,  Quezon City, victim and his companion were  about to alight  when two (2) suspects came from behind and shot the victim at the back using an unknown caliber.


One of the suspect then grabbed the shoulder bag of the victim containing unestimated amount of money and fled using a motorcycle. The victim was brought to Sacred Heart Medical Center but was pronounced dead on arrival by his attending Physician, Dr. Lynneth Santiago.


In an interview, PSSUPT TINIO said that the SITG will conduct thorough investigation on the said case and will not leave any stones left unturned.  He further added that series of case conferences will be held by the said task group to determine the development in the investigation.***
