JPSCC Coordinating Conference in Preparation for the October Barangay and SK Elections

The Pampanga Police Provincial Office under the leadership of PSSUPT OSCAR D ALBAYALDE, Acting Provincial Director, Pampanga PPO together with the Philippine Army under the supervision of COL ALLAN PAJARILLO, Deputy Commander of 703rd Brigade, 7ID held a Joint Peace and Security Coordinating Council (JPSCC) Coordinating Conference on Security Preparation for the Synchronized Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Elections on October 28, 2013 at Bale Katimawan, Pampanga PHQ earlier today.


Provincial Election Supervisor Atty Lydia Pangilinan together with COMELEC election officers in the province, attended the said conference. DILG Provincial 3 Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia was also present during the JPSCC Coordinating Conference.


The agenda of the conference were the following: LGU-AFP-PNP Collaboration Effort Against Insurgency; Security Preparations of Polling Places and Deployment of Personnel from Different Units; Preparation of all Chiefs of Police in Different Election Areas of Concerns.


During the conference, PSUPT RAQUEL LINGAYO, Chief POB, discussed the deployment of personnel for the forthcoming election period in order to maximize the effective strength of police troops in the security of polling stations in the province. Hence, a secure and fair election this October 28, 2013 can be achieved.
                       

Election Related Incidents and Election Areas of Concern were tackled during the said conference Furthermore, PD ALBAYALDE urged the attending officers to intensify checkpoints, patrols and other anti-criminality operations in their respective AORs in order to avoid/resolve these problems.
           

Lastly, PSSUPT ALBAYALDE, directed his staff and the Chiefs of Police who attended the meeting to conduct massive security preparations, maximize the deployment of personnel and intensify the conduct of focused police operations to ensure a peaceful and fair elections in the province of Pampanga.
