Pampanga Police Investigates Guagua Double Murder Case

The Pampanga PPO under the leadership of PSSUPT OSCAR D ALBAYALDE, Acting Provincial Director is currently investigating a double murder case victimizing a retired public school teacher and her daughter in their home at Sitio Capilia, Pulong Masle, Guagua, Pampanga yesterday, February 19, 2014.

In a report sent by Chief of Police PSUPT ANGELITO ESTEBAN, at about 6:45PM, Barangay Captain Felicisimo Santos reported to the office of Guagua MPS the said incident. Immediately, elements from Guagua MPS proceeded at the place and thereat found the two (2) lifeless victims.

Victims were identified as Adelaida Santos y Dionisio, 67 years old, widow and a retired public school teacher and her daughter Ivy Santos y Dionisio, 29 years old and both residents of Sitio Capilia, Pulong Masle, Guagua, Pampanga. Initial investigation disclosed that the body of Adelaida was found at the back of the house while Ivy’s body was found inside their comfort room.

Further investigation revealed that the incident probably happened between 2:00PM to 3:00PM of February 19, 2014. Furthermore, the two victims were inside their house while watching television when the unidentified suspect/s entered their house and killed the victims by hitting their heads using the handle of a floor polisher. Afterwards, the two victims were partially burned by the suspect/s using gasoline taken from the motorcycle tank found inside the victims’ house.

A team from SOCO arrived at the said place around 8:14PM and conducted technical processing of the crime scene. The cadavers of the victims were brought to Reynaldo Rivera Tumang Funeral Services, Floridablanca, Pampanga for the conduct of autopsy.

This office is still conducting in-depth investigation for the identification of the suspect/s.
