            In support with the Department of Education’s (DepEd) “Oplan Balik Eskwela (OBE) 2013”, the Pampanga Provincial Police Office under the leadership of PSSUPT OSCAR D ALBAYALDE, Officer-in-Charge will be implementing Security Measures and Public Safety Plans for the protection of the students during the opening of classes this June 3, 2013.

            Oplan Balik Eskwela is initiated yearly by the Department of Education in preparation of school openings throughout the country. This Oplan seeks to tackle and answer the commonly encountered problems during school opening. It also aims to ensure the students are able to enroll on time and also to be able to attend school on the first day of classes this coming June.

            PSSUPT ALBAYALDE gave directives to the nineteen municipal and two city Chiefs of Police to invigorate Oplan Balik Eskwela 2013 through the establishment of Police Assistance Desks (PADs) and Traffic Assistance Centers (PACs) near the schools in their respective areas of jurisdiction in order to ensure a smooth and organized opening of classes on June 3.

A total of five hundred (500) police personnel coming from the Pampanga PNP will be deployed throughout the province to help and assist students in going back to school. The PADs will also be giving out flyers regarding crime prevention to students during the opening of classes.

            OIC ALBAYALDE added that he will ensure the operational readiness of all Police units in responding to traffic directional control, peace and order concerns and also threats from criminal elements who may take advantage of the situation.
